LakeView Leasing has been a proud member of the North Central Minority Supplier Development Council since 2008 and previously, John Herrera and his former organization First American Capital Management had been a long-time member in the '90s through early 2000s. Through these organizations, we have been adding value to our corporate clients where there is interest to do doing business with ethnically diverse businesses. Diverse businesses like ours bring competition to the marketplace and breed innovation. We feel this organization has helped our success and we do our best to continue to be a strong advocate for other diverse businesses around the United States.
Along with being an MBE, LakeView Leasing is also a HUBZone entity. HUBZone is a Historically Underutilized Business Zone documented by the SBA to assist with areas where economies are not as strong as urban environments. LakeView Leasing is proud to be located in Northern Minnesota on the Leech Lake Band of Ojibwe Reservation. While corporations are not required to fill goals with diverse businesses certified by private bodies, those doing business with the Federal Government require certain categories to be filled, such as HUBZone certified companies.
Supplier diversity is a driving force for our business community and we are happy to assist other diverse businesses with finance solutions!
